Property Tax Work-Off Program

The Town of Duxbury’s Senior Property Tax Work-Off Program lets eligible residents perform community service for the Town in exchange for an abatement on their property tax bill. It’s a great way to put your skills to work for Duxbury while reducing your tax bill.

To Qualify You Must:

  • Be 65 years old as of July 1
  • Own and occupy your home in Duxbury as your primary residence
  • Have lived in Massachusetts for the past five years
  • If your property is held in a trust, submit trust documents showing you are a Trustee

How to Apply

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis each program year. To apply, visit the Town’s online application portal.
